Way back when, Keith had an affair with a model named Uschi Urbermaier. There's now a film about her called 8 Miles High, and there are a couple of actors who try to portray Keith and Mick (see preview below). I haven't seen it yet, but it's #2 in my Netflix queue. We'll see!

Fri, December 26, 2008 - 2:13 AM"8 Miles High" sucked, but I highly recommend "Cadillac Records" which briefly has actors portraying the Stones -

Fri, December 26, 2008 - 11:14 AMI agree about 8 Miles High (in fact, I wrote a review on Netflix). Thanks for the tip about Cadillac Records. I have another 10 days off - I'm there!

Re: 8 Miles High
Fri, December 26, 2008 - 12:43 PMYeah, I had a hard time watching "8 Miles High," I thought it shallow and out of touch with the spirit of the times. I didn't like the B- movie effects nor the message of the movie. Still, the people are interesting to watch and may grow into better actors. The clothes were nice.
I liked the movie "Stoned" better, even though it was not the best movie I ever saw. It told a story, parts of which may have been true.
Perhaps it's difficult to capture the Stones' savoir-faire ....I think Johnny Depp did a better job capturing Keith by playing him as part of a characterization of a Pirate. Artists can only be captured by butterfly nets and then, delicately, without damaging them more than they have been damaged already.
